These are great design ideas! In larger spaces utilizing a stage, I’ve also seen pillars used as key points to mount video monitors to facilitate viewing for those seated further back in the house. They can actually come in quite handy.

I love it !!! So creative – so easy – so cheap. And right in front of our noses!! It just means “thinking outside the box” and not scrolling through the list of “established themes”. I never would have thought of a “texting theme”. I love it. New/fresh/creative/very “in”. CONGRATS !!!!!

Thanks for the great recap and images of Carneros Inn! Stayed there last year and really enjoyed it. Love that they have seasonal packages (http://www.thecarnerosinn.com/thecarnerosinn/specials.aspx) so you can go during different times of year and try different things.
